Black Sabbath will help "CSI" wrap up its current season.  Band members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler will appear as themselves on the CBS drama, in a plotline that includes Ted Danson's character D.B. Russell and Marc Vann's character Conrad Ecklie going to a Black Sabbath concert.

The band will perform the new song, "End of the Beginning," on the show.  "CSI" Executive Producer Don McGill says they were "all really excited" to hear that Black Sabbath was interested in showcasing their new music on the program.

He adds that since the group's new album is titled "13" and "CSI" is ending its 13th season, "it seemed like the perfect match."  Black Sabbath's "CSI" appearance is set for May 15th.  Sabbath's album "13" will be in stores on June 11th.

This won't be the first time Ozzy has used the "CSI" franchise to introduce new music.  In 2010 the rocker debuted his solo single "Let Me Hear You Scream" on an episode of "CSI: NY."
