A new album is on the way.  MusicTap.net says the band will release their sixth studio project before the year is over.

Life, Love & Hope is due December 3rd.  The disc is Boston's first album in eleven years, following their 2002 release Corporate America.  The gap between albums is long even for Boston.

Since their sophomore effort, 1978's Don't Look Back, the band has issued an album every eight years.  In addition, Life, Love & Hope will be Boston's first release since the death of singer Brad Delp.

Boston's current lineup includes founding guitarist Tom Scholz with longtime rhythm guitarist Gary Pihl and drummer Curly Smith.  Singer Tommy DeCarlo has been on board since 2008, while guitarist David Victor and bassist Tracy Ferrie joined the group last year.
